Old Friends with a New Job - Drs. Yu Kitadate and Satoru Kobayashi describe their work, building on the original Developmental Cell paper, showing that primordial germ cells use receptor tyrosine kinase ligands to activate a negative feedback mechanism in the embryonic niche.
